Today we were up early to leave by 7:30am. 3 hours on the road with 45 minutes with Dennis and then 3 hours back to Nizhny Novgorod. Dennis is quite an energetic boy! He was on the go the whole 45 minutes. We tried to calm him down, but he wasn’t having any of that. At one point, I held him close for a snuggle session. He made some sounds that indicated that he didn’t enjoy the snuggles, so I let him get down. I hope that he will acclimate to all the affection that I want to show him. He’s a smart boy. He was able to put together various puzzles and was constantly talking his way through them. We showed him a book that I made about our family and our home. He immediately recognized Tyler as “Papa” and me as “Mama” and he was about 50% with the three kids’ names, which is not bad for just having learned them today.
We were able to take some pictures today and so I would like to present our fourth child to you:
Calvin Robert Pierce
Here are some more pictures that we've taken lately:
Gorky Square - we live right next to this.
We are eating a traditional chocolate PRAGA cake. Anna with her creation and a statue.
People near where we live by Gorky Square.
Statues and buildings. I love the statues.
Some scenery. I love the open fields in Russia - there's so much space here.
